Rooted in New Orleans from birth, Meaghan received her Bachelor of Science from Tulane University. She then went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. She quickly became known among her classmates for her commitment to justice and advocacy for all. She was elected and served two years as Vice President and then President of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund (SALDF). In addition, Meaghan has practical courtroom experience as a Rule XX Student Practitioner in the Stuart H. Throughout her career, she has shown exceptional skill in trial preparation and legal research and a passion for upholding justice. Before joining Peiffer Wolf, Meaghan worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the Parish of Orleans where she prosecuted cases within the felony trials division.
Meaghan is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association and the American Association for Justice. She is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts.
With a longstanding commitment to animal welfare, Meaghan has been an active and dedicated animal rescuer throughout the New Orleans community for many years. She enjoys cycling, running on the levee with her four dogs, and seeking out the perfect cup of coffee New Orleans has to offer.

How we work
We have represented thousands of victims of investment fraud, against financial institutions that failed to discharge their duties and protect the investing public. Each case is different and our past successes are not indicative of future results; we will be glad to review your case and advise you as to your options, at no charge.
We generally represent investors on a “contingency fee” basis, meaning we do not charge any legal fees unless and until we recover money for you. Our general practice is to advance the case costs on the client’s behalf and recoup them out of (and up to) the amounts recovered. A few jurisdictions (states) require the client to be responsible for the case costs; whenever that is the case we explain to the client what those costs entail.
